A quick new post...
Although it has been a busy schedule for me since the last two days... as I am "ON" to explore the beauty that Delhi imbibes, but a reverence in me that I behold for a place I visited yesterday makes me write about the memorable experience.
They always say, No-one, Nothing in this world is perfect. Well... to all those people who believe in this saying... my sincere request to all of them... Visit AKSHARDHAM Temple.
Built in a gigantic amount of landscape, the place is truly a memoir that tells that quality art in India is still not dead. When I first heard of the idea of my sister; of visiting the Akshardham temple, I was the least excited among the lot. I am never turned on by an idea of visiting temples. But as I reached the threshold and entered the gate, I felt spell bound by the infrastructure that the temple beholds. Wow...!!! was my initial reaction. Then as we passed on the innumerable security checks, I was slowly getting transfixed by the magic of its architecture, design, cleanliness and the discipline that is so visible everywhere inside. Everything... the theatre, the boat ride, the shows; everything was phenomenal.
My verdict... If you are in Delhi and even if you are not, relish the aura of the Akshardham and you would never feel bad to be an Indian.
